Our Miss South Dakota USA 2020 visited my studio for her official sponsored photoshoot, and I had so much fun helping style her for the shoot.

I always gravitate towards neutral colors, as I feel they make women look chic and timeless. She had just gotten this adorable white Michael Kors jacket and paired with a chunky gold necklace, printed flare pants, and a lacy crop top, our first outfit was all about modern chic. She even used a variation of this styling look for rehearsals at Miss USA!

Our second and third looks were all about satin. I paired her color blocked satin slip dress with tennis shoes because who doesn’t love some fashionable comfort on set!? Lastly, I really wanted to see her in red because she reminded me so much of a former Miss Wisconsin USA titleholder, Chrissy Zamora, who I looked up to as a young pageant competitor and whose signature competition color was red. Thank you for the inspiration, Chrissy!
