Miss North Dakota Teen USA visits the Minnesota studio

I’m so thankful for all my clients—particularly for those who make the trip to Minnesota to come shoot at my new studio! I get stir-crazy in the car, so I can appreciate the time it takes to come all the way for a photoshoot. But it’s worth it!

Amanda & her mom were the sweetest people to work with and I loved getting to know them both. Amanda, future pilot & current Miss North Dakota Teen USA, told me all about school this fall, the process of becoming a pilot, and how the airline industry runs in their family!

We shot lots of different outfits, but my favorite was the turquoise & green look. Once I saw Amanda’s beautifully bright eyes, I was drawn to the idea to do a blue/green look to make her eyes POP! Plus, turquoise was one of my core competition colors when I was competing so it has a special place in my heart.
