But first, let me take a selfie
Two weeks ago I was in Des Moines, Iowa which was my first trip since January! It felt good to get traveling again, but safely obviously, as COVID-19 cases are spiking around the country everywhere.
With every precaution taken, I said hello to new and old friends at the National American Miss (NAM) Minnesota/Wisconsin pageant. Masks were worn, air hugs exchanged, and so many titles won!
In June, the day after the pageant was re-located to Des Moines, I saw the most enticing Tik Tok: a selfie museum in Iowa. I googled it right away and found out it was 15 minutes from the NAM hotel—score! I secured a private before-hours session, and I watched for the next 3 weeks as the selfie museum began to gain national attention as a destination for super colorful, fun photos. I was itching to get shooting there. Check out our time there!
P.S. I’m back in Des Moines around Sept 24-25th if you’re interested in a similar session!
