Make your own Grand March

Prom season is….here? Yes! It’s here!

Due to coronavirus, our 2020 high school seniors have needed to get creative to craft their own versions of prom & graduation. My heart goes out to my friend who are graduating (high school or college!) this year—Talia, Hannah K, Hannah D, Lauren, Caitlyn and Grace to name a few. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to capture a senior prom moment for Grace & her boyfriend, Jake.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Grace for years, as we first connected via National American Miss when we were both competing. Since then, Grace has started her own nationally recognized non-profit Threads for Teens, shared predictions at Miss Universe parties, was accepted into PSEO and earned college credits throughout high school, competed at Minnesota USA, and has been a constant supportive friend, sister, and daughter.

Pretty impressive high schooler right!? Thankfully Grace found her own support in Jake, her boyfriend who just finished his first year of college. The genuine laughter & ease of their relationship is so fun to be around & capture! He was even kind enough to send me the most thoughtful message after our time together.

I absolutely love all of the pictures you took of me and Grace. You are so good at what you do and I have a lot of fun with you when doing these photo shoots. I just wanted to let you know how much I love these pictures and I want to thank you for doing such an amazing job with them.

Thank you for trusting me to celebrate & capture this milestone, you two!
